Currently building my skills in CapCut to create short-form, engaging videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Procreate
I use Procreate to create digital illustrations and artwork. It’s where I bring my visual ideas to life, blending traditional drawing with digital tools.
Canva
Used Canva throughout university for posters, infographics, and social media content. I focus on creating visually cohesive designs that are on-brand and informative.
University Projects (AUT)
Integrated Marketing Communications
In this course, we analysed the target audience of a tourism operator and explored how to effectively advertise through video and audio-based channels. I chose to focus on Haka Tours, identifying their core audience segments and evaluating the most effective video and audio platforms for reaching them. I presented my findings through a well-researched infographic that highlighted key insights and strategic recommendations.


Edited a TikTok video using Adobe Premiere Pro by repurposing content videos from the brand’s existing social media. Added captions such as “Want Adventure?” at the beginning and “Adventure with Haka Tours New Zealand” at the end to create a compelling call-to-action. The video was designed to inspire future travel aspirations and position Haka Tours as the go-to choice when audiences consider adventure experiences.
Strategic Marketing
As part of a group project in this course, we identified a gap in the fitness industry and developed FitzPerkz—a rewards-based fitness app inspired by the Flybuys model. FitzPerkz goes beyond standard fitness tracking by incorporating streak-based gamification, encouraging users to build consistent workout habits. Streaks are earned by attending partnered local gyms and classes, turning commitment into real-world perks.
I was responsible for designing the advertising mock-ups, ensuring they reflected the brand’s energetic and motivational tone. Attracting GenZ and Millenials who are gym-goers.



Although the billboard concept was not implemented due to budget constraints, I designed a series of mock-ups that demonstrate how FitzPerkz could attract attention from high-traffic areas. These designs were created to align with the brand’s bold, motivational tone and to capture the interest of potential users through clear messaging and eye-catching visuals.

(Using only canva photos as it’s a mock-up, a change of the slogan “Get Fit. Get Fed.” was designed to be short and punchy, —rewarding consistent fitness with real-life perks.)

Digital, Social Media and Mobile Marketing (Summer School)
As part of the Digital, Social Media and Mobile Marketing course (Summer School), I developed a promotional campaign to advertise the paper itself. I chose Instagram as the primary channel, aiming to create content that was both visually engaging and informative for AUT marketing students. The objective was to effectively communicate the course’s value and encourage enrolment through clear, on-brand messaging and design.

I created an Instagram post using Canva, aligning the design and messaging with AUT’s brand tone.

Skilled in creating engaging and interactive Instagram Stories that encourage audience participation and strengthen online engagement.



Content Creation Examples
I am currently a Content Creation Intern at InfluenceWorks, where I create ideas, film, and edit video content. One of my key projects involves creating “How to make…” recipe videos in collaboration with Harraways Oats. Through researching the brand, I identified the importance of promoting their soft plastic recyclable packaging, and I’ve integrated this messaging into the content to help raise awareness and align with the company’s sustainability values.

I selected the trending sound “Little Sparrow” by Paul Alan Morris for its calming and aesthetic tone, which aligns seamlessly with the visual of honey being poured. The sound enhances the relaxing atmosphere of the video, creating a cohesive and engaging viewing experience.
The choice of a plastic honey bottle for the video could be seen as controversial, given the growing awareness of environmental sustainability and the preference for eco-friendly packaging. To elevate the presentation, a honey stick could have been used to pour the honey, adding a more elegant and visually appealing touch. Additionally, filming during sunrise, with warm yellow light streaming through the windows, would have complemented the golden hues of the honey, creating a more cohesive and inviting aesthetic for the footage.

I chose the song “Touch” by Katseye because it is a trending track popular among teens and young adults, making it a fitting choice to resonate with the target audience.
The video could have been improved by ensuring the footage remained in focus throughout. Additionally, following the full instructions—such as adding ice and frothing the milk as expected—would have enhanced the overall quality. However, due to personal circumstances, I had to rush the final steps, which impacted the execution.

I decided to do a project example of a ‘How to’ video that’s for Harraways Instagram. Brainstorming ideas of ingredients I could make by research trending food and drink videos on Instagram.
I’ve decided to develop a project example for a ‘How-to’ video for Harraways’ Instagram channel. To ensure the content aligns with current trends and engages our target audience, I am brainstorming ideas for ingredients by researching popular food and drink videos on Instagram. This approach will help identify trending recipes and innovative concepts that resonate with viewers, ultimately enhancing Harraways’ social media presence.
There are reasons why I chose “Strawberry Matcha Overnight Oats”
- Matcha drinks are trending in New Zealand, especially in a younger demographic (mostly Gen-Z & Millenials).

I would finalised that this video would suit “Narpy – Cherry Blossoms”.
I could have enhanced the video by incorporating ASMR elements of the food preparation alongside the background music. However, the presence of disruptive background noise limited my ability to include those audio details.
Leveraging my prior experience in creating vlogs with family and friends using Adobe Premiere Pro, I was able to produce this video with efficiency and proficiency.
